InboxExport is built so that your Shopify conversations never leave your computer. This policy explains the little data we do handle.

Who we are

InboxExport is run by “Dev with George”, located at Leoforos Vasilissis Olgas 83, 54642, Thessaloniki Greece (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected].

The short version

• The InboxExport extension runs in your browser. Your Shopify Inbox conversations and your customers’ details never reach us.
• Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller, which acts as the merchant of record.
• We only receive what you send us directly, such as support emails.

The extension

When you click Export, the extension reads your conversations from Shopify Inbox using your existing sign-in and creates files on your computer. This happens entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, transmit or have access to your conversations, your customers’ names, emails, orders or any other content from your Shopify store.

The extension stores your license key and plan in your browser’s extension storage. If you activate a license key, the extension sends the key and a device label (for example “InboxExport (Chrome) 2026-10-30”) to Lemon Squeezy to check which plan it belongs to, when the app is opened and when the download starts.

The extension contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use: the use of information received from Google APIs and the browser will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data the extension handles is used only to provide the export feature you request and is not sold, transferred to third parties, or used for advertising or creditworthiness.

Purchases

Our products are sold by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC), which is the merchant of record for all orders. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email, billing address and payment details to process your order, calculate tax and send invoices, under its own privacy policy. We receive order information from Lemon Squeezy (your name, email, country, plan and order history) so we can provide support and manage licenses. We do not receive your full card details.

The website

This website does not use cookies or analytics. Our hosting provider, Papaki.gr, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. Fonts are hosted on our own server.

Support

If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and use them only to answer you.

Why we process your data (legal bases)

• Contract: to provide licenses and support for the plan you bought.
• Legal obligation: to keep business and tax records.
• Legitimate interest: to keep the website secure and improve the product.

How long we keep it

Support emails: up to 24 months after the conversation ends. Order and license records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, generally 10 years in Greece.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, UK or a similar jurisdiction, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and complain to your data protection authority. In Greece this is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr). Email us to use any of these rights.

Your customers’ data

When you export conversations that include your customers’ personal data, you are the controller of that data and responsible for handling it lawfully. InboxExport anonymises customers by default to help you share less personal data.

Children

InboxExport is a business tool and not meant for anyone under 18.
